Bike Tour in Mallorca - Cycling Holidays
This sunny island in the Mediterranean Sea has all the ingredients for you to enjoy a week of great cycling.
The island is a privileged training ground for both pro-cyclist and amateurs that come from all over the world to enjoy the varied types of terrain and rides this place has to offer in its well maintained roads. While cycling Majorca you'll be able to experience the mountains of the northern coast along with its iconic climbs and long downhill sections, the hills and flats of the southern and central area and the beautiful coastal roads that zig-zag up and down the western and northern coasts.
Alongside, your Mallorca cycling holidays will introduce you to the island's gastronomy, that although similar to the one in continental Spain, has its own specialties, namely the tasty fish and seafood, caught fresh every day and available throughout the island's "pincho" bars and great restaurants.
Being blessed by a mediterranean climate, the island offers also great wines. The Binissalem - Mallorca wine region is home to great gems of wines using the local grape as well as blends. The vineyards are mostly located on the foothills of the Tramuntana and Alfabia mountain ranges that you'll be able to ride by or even stop at the wineries for a visit and a taste.
Expect a great hospitality and accommodation, this is after all an island with great focus on summer and beach tourism too. You'll stay in both coastal hotels right by the ocean where you can explore the beautiful beaches and hidden pebble coves as well as quiet rural inland hotels that will let you unwind and relax in their gentle scenery. Enoy your Majorca cycling holidays.

Today is a short but by no means easy ride ride from Pollença to the Easternmost point of the island, the magnificent Cap Formentor. This is one of the iconic rides while cycling Mallorca. From Pollença you'll ride to seaside Port Pollença village and then along the coast to the Formentor peninsula. As you leave the coast you'll have the first of 2 climbs to the cape. At the end of the first downhill section you'll pass the beautiful Formentor Beach and then face the climb that will take you to the cape. Enjoy the views and on the way back we suggest a detour to Calla San Vicenç, a magnificent little village, beach and bay, a great place to have lunch too before heading back to Pollença to your hotel.

Today's ride will be the one with the most climbing but also the most special of your Majorca cycling holidays. / I ride my bike an average of 100 kilometres or more per week and enjoy a fast paced ride for an extended period of time. I love to train, improve and be challenged by other riders. I enjoy all riding experiences, from big climbs to long, technical descents, especially the ones that allow me to push my limits and make long lasting memories.
You’ll get to ride in a peloton along with your peers but also challenge them on the long climbs. Lead the pack and take on the special extra-challenges we have in store for you – try to keep up with our guides as you go for the extra mile just before your well deserved rest and massage at the hotel!
Our guides and support vans will provide you with nutrition and hydration along all our guided tours so that you can better enjoy your ride.

Ricardo has picked some of the best roads in the region, that will introduce you to his favorite vineyards, coffee stops, viewpoints, hotels and other secret spots.
We had a wonderful week of cycling with friends in a private tour of the Douro Valley. The guys from Live Love Ride (Ricardo, Luis & Daniel) were excellent-they couldn't do enough to ensure that we had a great time including directing us to some fabulous restaurants for lunches. The bikes were first class and the accommodation outstanding. We can thoroughly recommend Live Love Ride.
