Nothing quite like road cycling to explore more of a country. Ride the distance, as fast or as slow as you feel like, embracing the climbs and enjoying the descends - get to know a country's topography in your legs, stop at the cafes, conquer the viewpoints and finish your day relaxing at hand-picked hotels and soaking in the culture in one our our local experiences.
We were based in Cascais, near Lisbon for 12 days and after just getting back into cycling I needed to keep it up. LiveLoveRide were by far the easiest to work with in tailoring just what we needed. A guided tour 4 times over the 12 days for a morning each time. The bikes were amasing and set up ready for us to use. We were met at our apartment by Rodrigo who was great at making us feel confident on the ride and also coaching us when needed up the hills (thank you). We had some great fun and saw lots of the rides around Cascais and Sintra that are amasing. Thank you Rodrigo and Pedro and looking forward to coming again shortly for some more cycling.
We had a wonderful week of cycling with friends in a private tour of the Douro Valley. The guys from Live Love Ride (Ricardo, Luis and Daniel) were excellent-they couldn't do enough to ensure that we had a great time including directing us to some fabulous restaurants for lunches. The bikes were first class and the accommodation outstanding. We can thoroughly recommend Live Love Ride.
